Qualification:

Mr. Sachin Parab graduated in 1991 with distinction in Mechanical Engineering from Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli. He successfully completed his Post Graduation from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi securing first price in Overseas Project Management. He has attended several Management Programs at prestigious institutes in India such as IIM(A) and USA such as Harvard Business School Boston MA.

Achievements:

Mr. Sachin Parab joined in Feb 2017 as President and Global Business Head for Triveni Turbines Aftermarket. He worked in automotive/engineering sector for major part of his career.

Sachin’s strengths are managing International business in different domains, team leadership and ability to inspire. He possesses a strong commercial acumen along with exposure to diversity & cross-cultural acceptance.

During his tenure, Sachin has been instrumental in leading the Aftermarket business successfully for Triveni Turbines. As the business unit head, his responsibility included the complete value chain of the aftermarket domain globally, for both the Triveni-manufactured turbines as well as rotating equipment from other brands under our multi-brand aftermarket solutions called Triveni REFURB. Staying competitive in an ever-changing & highly cost-conscious business portfolio, his Customer Value Proposition has enabled the Company to improve the Net Promoter Score, a key metric to measure customer satisfaction, while sustaining profitability margins consistently.

His immense contribution in developing business in new aftermarket segments (end product as well as geography) has enabled Triveni Turbines to double its revenue from Aftermarket business in five years contributing to one-third of the overall revenues of the Company. His international experience helped Triveni Turbines to expand globally including its first overseas acquisition (South Africa) in FY 2022 and establishing subsidiary in USA in FY 2024. As an astute leader and a trusted pillar of Triveni Turbines, Sachin’s grit, determination, optimizing his experience of around three decades, never-say-die attitude has enabled to stay successful in his career journey. His experience of having worked in various geographies and organizations has strengthened his cultural sensitivity, command respect from all section/levels of employees and commercial acumen. His ability to network, solution-oriented approach and carrying the team alongside has been the hallmark for his success.

Career Journey:

Sachin’s career journey spans over 3 decades

  • Sachin started his career in Jamshedpur with TELCO (now Tata Motors) in domestic market in Commercial Vehicles and later Passenger Cars Sales & Service and had stints at various locations including Bhubaneswar, Delhi and at Sales HO at WTC Mumbai.
  • He worked briefly with Garware Technical Fibres Ltd as Asst. Manager Exports in Pune.
  • Later managed all facets of exports business including shipping, documentation, banking, incentives & marketing for 3 years in Mumbai with Navin Fluorine International.
  • Sachin was privileged to represent Mumbai as Cultural Ambassador to New York thru the auspices of Rotary International gaining exposure to a wide spectrum of US industries, organizations, educational and social institutions in the summer of 1997.
  • Soon after his return to India, Sachin joined Farm Equipment Sector of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd at its HO in Mumbai in International Marketing. He joined as Deputy Manager and built the business in various markets beginning with Asia followed by Africa and later LATAM, growing to the position of Deputy General Manager in 5 years.
  • Sachin was deputed to Mahindra USA Inc. and was based in Houston TX. He was then promoted as Head of East Coast Operations and moved to Atlanta GA.
  • He returned to M&M’s HO in Mumbai in April 2008 as GM – International Operations.
  • Joined Escorts Ltd. in May 2010, based in New Delhi as VP International Business.
  • Sept 2012 to Feb 2017 as CEO International Business at Greaves Cotton Ltd, Mumbai
  • Joined TTL in February 2017 as President & Global Head, Aftermarket Business and later promoted as COO & Head International Operations.
