Qualification:

Mr Shailendra Bhandari holds a Master’s degree in Management from IIM, Ahmedabad. He is a seasoned finance professional having expertise in Banking, Private Equity and Mutual Funds.

Key Achievements:

He was the Managing Director & CEO of ING Vysya Bank Limited and was a part of the lNG’s Leadership Group comprising its Top 100 people across all Global businesses. Currently is on the Board of Axis AMC, and is a member of the Financial Services Institutions Bureau (FSIB).

He has also served as the founding head of Tata’s entry into the Private Equity space. He was the Managing Director and CEO of Centurion Bank of Punjab. He has also served as a Member of the Managing Committee of the Indian Banks Association and was on the Managing Committee of the Bombay Chambers of Commerce & Industry. He had also worked as MD & CEO of Centurion Bank of Punjab, and as Managing Director and CEO of Prudential ICICI Asset Management. He was part of the core team to set up HDFC Bank as Treasurer and Executive Director, prior to which he was with Citibank for over 12 years in India and overseas.
