Industrial Steam Turbines for Germany and Europe.
As one of the world’s leading manufacturers of industrial steam turbines, we deliver high-performance steam turbines up to 100 MW and full aftermarket support across Germany and Europe, backed by local engineering and commercial expertise from our Berlin office.
Powering Germany's Critical Industries with Steam Turbines
Whether you need reliable captive power for a data centre in Frankfurt, steam for a biomass plant in Bavaria, or a high-speed turbine for a refinery in northern Germany, we provide the engineering expertise to run your plant at peak efficiency. Over a 25-year asset life, it is not the purchase price of an industrial steam turbine that decides the outcome, it is its availability.
Reliability
Minimise downtime through robust turbine design, conservative rotor-dynamic margins, and spare parts held to original manufacturing tolerances. We machine the critical components of our steam turbines ourselves, so your availability does not depend on a fragmented supply chain.
Efficiency
Extract maximum energy from waste heat, biomass, or process steam. Every industrial steam turbine is engineered around your actual pressure and mass flow conditions, rather than forcing a standard frame size onto a non-standard process.
Local Support
Our Berlin-based sales and service team ensures rapid response times for Germany and Europe, in your time zone, and working to the standards and procurement practices your engineering and purchasing teams already use.

GEARED & MULTI-STAGE TURBINES
Customised high-speed designs validated in our high-speed balancing vacuum tunnel, alongside SMART pressure-reducing turbines that replace a PRDS station and recover the energy it would otherwise throttle away.
More Than a Manufacturer. Your Long-Term Partner
The life of a steam turbine does not end at commissioning, and neither does our responsibility. Compared with independent maintenance providers, our advantage is simple: we manufacture the original components, so we know exactly what we are repairing.
REFURB (REFURBISHMENT)
Extend the life of your steam turbine with our multi-brand refurbishment capability. We restore OEM performance and adapt the steam flow path to your current process conditions, whichever manufacturer’s name is on the nameplate.
AFTERMARKET SUPPORT
24/7 technical support, genuine spare parts, and on-site field service. Because we manufacture blades, rotors and casings ourselves, our spares match day-one tolerances rather than being reverse-engineered from a worn component.
LONG-TERM SERVICE AGREEMENTS (LTSA)
Predictable costs. Coordinated outage planning. Guaranteed parts availability. An LTSA turns industrial steam turbine maintenance from an unbudgeted risk into a fixed line in your operating plan.
Products
Industrial Steam Turbines
Backpressure and Condensing type steam turbine generators built for combined heat and power (CHP), as well as standalone power generation. These are the workhorse of our product line, chosen by plant operators who need a steam turbine for power plant applications ranging from a few MW up to 100 MWe, with the flexibility to match specific pressure and flow requirements at the design stage rather than forcing a standard unit onto a non-standard process.
API Turbines
API steam turbine manufacturers are a small, specialized group, building to API 611 and 612 means meeting some of the most demanding mechanical, testing, and documentation standards in the industry. Our API-compliant turbines range from 5 kW up to 100 MWe in Backpressure and Condensing types, purpose-built for chemicals, petrochemicals, petroleum refineries, and fertilizer plants. Our API-compliant products are prequalified with globally reputed National Oil Companies, OEMs, and EPC/PMC companies, which shortens the qualification cycle for customers who already work within those approved vendor lists.

CO2 Heat Pumps
CO2 heat pumps offer a cleaner, more efficient way to deliver heating and hot water. Using natural carbon dioxide (R744) as the refrigerant, they have a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of just 1 and zero ozone depletion, making them one of the most environmentally responsible technologies available today. Thanks to their transcritical operating cycle, CO2 heat pumps can produce hot water at up to 90°C and keep performing reliably even in very cold conditions, making them ideal for hotels, hospitals, commercial kitchens, residential complexes and industrial processes. At TTL, we cover the complete lifecycle of your system: we manufacture, supply, install and refurbish CO2 heat pumps, so you get one trusted partner from initial design to long-term performance. Whether you’re investing in a new installation or extending the life of an existing unit, TTL helps you cut energy costs, reduce carbon emissions, and meet your sustainability goals with confidence.
Steam Turbine Solutions Built Around Your Industry
A steam turbine for a waste-to-energy plant and a steam turbine for a sugar mill share the same basic physics and almost nothing else, different steam conditions, different duty cycles, different compliance obligations. Rather than fit your process to a standard frame size, we engineer the turbine, generator and control philosophy around how your plant actually runs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. We supply industrial steam turbines up to 100 MW across Germany and Europe. Sales, engineering and service are coordinated from our Berlin office; manufacturing takes place at our plants near Bengaluru, India.
Our range spans API-compliant mechanical drives from 5 kW up to 100 MWe backpressure and condensing turbine generator sets, covering small process applications through to large-scale power generation.
Depth of manufacturing. Most suppliers in this power range outsource part of the flow path. We design, machine, balance and test in-house, which is why we hold tolerances on new build and on refurbishment of machines we did not originally supply.
Yes. Through Triveni REFURB, our multi-brand refurbishment programme, we repair, overhaul and upgrade rotating equipment regardless of the original manufacturer or the age of the machine.
Our turbines are engineered to API 611/612, ASME, AGMA, NEMA and IEC standards. Our manufacturing operations are certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
Yes. Blade profiling, rotor assembly and high-speed balancing are all carried out in-house, so replacement blading matches the original specification rather than a reverse-engineered approximation.
Yes. We design backpressure and condensing steam turbines specifically for biomass and wood-waste plants, engineered around your boiler’s actual steam conditions rather than a fixed frame size, so output stays reliable even as fuel quality varies.
Yes. Our multi-stage condensing steam turbines are built for the corrosive, fluctuating steam conditions typical of waste-to-energy plants, and we can also assess and upgrade an existing WtE turbine of any make.
Yes. Backpressure and extraction-condensing steam turbines are well suited to CHP and district heating, since they let you generate power from the same fuel that produces process steam or district heat, without compromising heat delivery.
Yes. As grid connection timelines lengthen for new data centre capacity in Germany, a captive steam turbine solution, run on waste heat, gas, or biomass, gives operators a dispatchable, on-site power source sized to their actual load profile.
An LTSA is a fixed-term maintenance contract that covers scheduled outages, spare parts availability and technical support at predictable cost, turning steam turbine maintenance from an unbudgeted risk into a planned line item.
Our Berlin-based sales and service team is positioned to respond rapidly to customers across Germany, working in your time zone and to the procurement processes your engineering and purchasing teams already follow. Response times depend on the nature of the request and whether it falls under an existing service or LTSA agreement.
In most cases, yes. Our REFURB programme restores OEM performance on turbines of any original manufacturer and can also adapt the steam flow path to your current process conditions if your plant’s steam balance has changed since commissioning.
Yes. Because we manufacture blades, rotors and casings in-house to original tolerances, our engineers can reverse-engineer and supply spare parts for third-party turbines through the REFURB programme, in addition to genuine spares for our own machines.
We serve more than 22 industries globally, including waste-to-energy, district heating, oil & gas and refineries, pulp & paper, biomass and sugar, chemicals and cement, data centres and captive power, and CHP and cogeneration.
Global Engineering. Local Commitment
Triveni Turbines is the second-largest global manufacturer of industrial steam turbines under 100 MW, holding over 20% of the global market share. Our footprint spans more than 80 countries, and our manufacturing is concentrated in two facilities near Bengaluru, India, including the IGBC Platinum-rated Sompura plant commissioned in 2017.
Vertical integration is what separates us from most steam turbine manufacturers in this segment. Very few turbine manufacturers are also turbine blade manufacturers: we machine blades, rotors and casings under our own roof, and validate every unit in a high-speed balancing vacuum tunnel before it leaves the plant. That gives you traceability on the equipment you invest in, down to the mill certificate on the forging that became your rotor.
For UK and European buyers, the honest comparison is this: you are choosing between global OEMs headquartered in Europe or Japan and a manufacturer that meets the same engineering standards from a purpose-built, high-volume production base, with the cost and lead-time advantages that come with it, and a London team accountable for the relationship.
Our REFURB programme and our commitment to the circular economy mean the asset you buy is designed to be maintained, upgraded and life-extended rather than replaced.
